Good morning Fred. I will be after my small load on Monday which happens to be a holiday. The forecast is for snow here in the waste lands this weekend. I have not checked the weather for Newark Valley on Monday. Got a spare cot in case I get snowed in while there in the valley?

(quoted from post at 08:03:05 11/09/18) yes td7

Wasn't sure if it was a 7 or 8 from the pic.
I had a TD8E for many years.
Great machine.
Why I sold it I will never know.
Dumb mistake.

A nice easy load , Like them DRIVE ON AND DRIVE off loads . But the real work of art comes when your loading say four to eight semi mount plows and say four transport disc's some spike tooths then just to screw up the works throw in some spring tooths . They may load nice and even look like you know what your doing , but when ya go to unload that is when the fun begains . Myself i have worked for hours building a load of equipment taking parts off so you do not bend them while stacking or coming up with a way to haul nice grain drills with out damage or sticking out . Certain items are a pain to haul and elevators are one of them to me . Buying a bunch of nice gravity wagons out west and to make it cost effective to haul them ya have to break them down into Box and complete disassembly of the running gear and some times they don't want to come apart and the tug of war starts . First time i went to get a load for a friend i had the truck a pile of chains and binders and a pocket full of tickets . when i got to the sale yard i got the guy running the loader tractor and walked up to old Bill with a hand full of tickets and said here is what i am after and i have NO IDEA on how to load this I NEED HELP . He took the tickets and shuffled them like a deck of cards and he was off after the first piece and four hours later i had 27 pieces setting on the truck all chained down and heading out the gate . About six months of this you become and expert on how to make everything FIT and stay .
