Well folks, after all the BS, I hope Tuesdays results will bring sanity back to your country. Remember - VOTE ! - it affects the whole world to some minor degree.

Nothing will change!!!! They will just start talking about 2020. Too much money being made screaming at each other by the News and consultants to let anything settle. We are just shuffling the deck chairs on the political Titanic. Our system is going to break under the weight of the public debt that no one can control. Too Many "special" interest groups at the public hog troughs.

We've had despots since the time of Abraham. Our Constitutional Republic was a mad foray into the unknown. People actually ruling themselves? a crazy quaint notion.
nnalert government has mostly failed. Wiemar Germany collapsed. France has devolved into socialism. The idea of self rule isn't the problem though, it is that people can vote themselves largess from the public coffers with little or no push back. Power corrupts. Why does a country's leader need to amass a personal fortune when the whole nation is at his beck and call? Yet it happens under every despot and too many of our leaders. external_link made millions while in office. The Clintons left office "Broke" but amassed millions immediately thereafter.
President nnalert will be the rare leader in that he is losing millions by being in office. No book deals, he already wrote the book on how to do this stuff.
