Stink bugs are bugging me

Put on my welding gloves only to discover
they were full of stink bugs. Not to
mention my hands smelled like Stink bug.

I have oil filters on shelf. Dang stink
were inside new oil filters. I now put oil
filters inside zip lock bag.

Turned on electric heat gun. Yep I toasted
stink bugs. What a smell.

Is there a stink bug trap that attracts
stink bug? They are all over my pole barn.

Been fighting those little %^$#* all this fall. From what I have seen and read, you can set out some light source with a pan of soapy water under it. Use a shaded desk lamp or such. That will catch some. Once they bed down for the winter, it might not work so well. They had been sunning them selves out side during the last warm days of fall so went on a search and destroy mission. I found that brake clean will kill them dead. Just a little squirt. I still find them everywhere. Evil hateful creatures....

The last few years, they have been terrible here. Not so much this year.
Wife and grand kids catch them with paper towel and put them in a plastic drink bottle and wife throws them in the fire in the shop heater.

Last year the were really bad at my place. This year I have only seen 3 inside my house. Hope it stays that way. I sprayed heavy this year in my house and buildings.

I live about 50 miles west of Charlotte North Carolina and where i live now they are awful i hate the dang things. I use to live on Lake Norman about 30 miles away and never saw any at all. But over here on the opposite side of the county they are everywhere. I was wondering if it was because all the Walnut trees around this house. And is there anything that i can spray to kill or at least move them away.

About 5 years ago we had the brown stink bugs here in SE PA very bad. Since then, each year is less. Hardly see them anymore. I believe they began to be food for many other things. So, I may work itself out.

Go to your local farm store. Look in the animal health and livestock section for a can of "Country Vet" brand insect spray. It is a large aerosol can, and somewhat pricey but worth every penny. It contains "pyrethrin". It will kill those stink bugs, McKinley bugs, and asian beetles. Not an instant knock down, but it WILL get them.
