counting the days

As a pup we counted the days until the last day of school. Counted the days until Halloween or Christmas. As time past we counted waiting to get that drivers license. Most of us counted until we could be a big shot at 21. Now at my age I closely count the days until Nov.8th, The day the damn adds stop running on TV and radio, and my phone stops trying to tell me who I should vote for. I want to vote for "D", none of the above. Al

It?s difficult to watch local news or such shows, they are really targeted with the put down political ads. Blah!

One local station does ?fact cgecking? On some of the ads in a segment every day. What is funny is the very ads they examine are before and after the segment. Just seems odd.

Me too!!!! It seems to me that most ads are how bad the other guy is......

Distilate IH M. 12 volt conversion kit from YT works fine. Tractor after 2 months battery dead. when charging it back up, alt light was on. when I turned the ign switch on the alt light got brighter. Finally started, ran 2 hours mowing, blew shear pin and returned to barn. Just in case it would not start and time to go. Pushed in the start switch and it kept on running for 30 seconds, then petered out. Bad ign switch or what? Ill look at it tomorrow to see if the battery is dead. Old or country T, whats your thoughts. Thanks in advance. Earl

Might be somewhat aggravating to have to mute the TV every time an add comes on but it is still a small price to pay to be a relatively free citizen in a country where you can still vote for the type of government you want, think of Venezuela and China and most of the Middle East and countless other places around the world where totalitarian rule is the norm. Give me the good ole USA and all the lying and conniving politicians any day.

As kids we used to count the days til Christmas. Paging through the Eatons and Simpsons Sears Christmas catalogues picking out what would like for Christmas. I kind of miss those days. Its a different world.

If you could believe your local stations it would be okay but . I have one that I always watched for years. quit watching it couple years ago. there so biased in there reporting its not funny. times surely has changed. I heard yesterday there were 7 million jobs that needs to be filled across the country. Now if true that's really great for our country.

I'm just thankful I live in a country where ads are allowed and have the freedom to vote how I want to vote.People in Cuba never have to worry about ads but I expect 99% of the people that live there would gladly trade places with you and love the ads.Count your blessings.
