Fall colors

We have nicer fall colors this year than I ever
remember. The hickories and hedge are a really
nice yellow, the sassafras are purple, even the
sycamore and oaks are nice looking. We have had a
cool fall so far.

Must have had too much rain in September and early October. Poor color in central Iowa. High percentage of leaves on ground now.
 
We had outstanding fall colours here but they have been gone for close to a month now. Naturally I took a picture or two.

Here in SJ the colors are here and there nice but most are so so. First shot is looking arouss the street as the sun was almost set. My mums haven't been hit by a frost yet. Neighbor behind me, and a nice color driving down the road.
