Electronic ignition parts?

I bought the conversion kit here; it fit and worked great.... for about a week, until someone left the key on and fried the pickup sensor. I'm currently running it with the external 12v can coil and points. I really don't want to have to buy the whole kit again but I've not been able to find the sensor as an individual piece. Does anyone have any info or suggestions?

I once had a similar problem myself.it was a pertronix and I called them directly at the company. They were great about it and sent me the part I needed free of charge. It doesn't hurt to ask. Good luck!

Nielson Electric in Brookings SD can get them. Your Petronix dealer should be able to get them.

I agree with bottom post, call pertronix, I had the same experience when I called pertronix on a problem
