Wonder if they’ll work ?

The reason your pictures look sideways to us on computers is the picture is taller than it is wide.
The YT program turns the picture to fit our screen.

I would bet you are holding the phone sideways (long ways right to left) when taking the picture.
Trying taking a picture with your phone held the other way (long ways up and down) and posting it to see if that makes a differance.

My lap top went dead, and isn?t worth reviving, so I
have been using my IPhone to post comments and
pictures. I have no accommodation to resize photos
on my IPhone, so unless the YT site makes some
further changes in the picture upload system, guess
I am done posting pictures.
I do not have any grasp of how the web site works,
or why the changes that have occurred were
initiated. All I can tell is this is a much more
complicated process to post pictures than what we
had before. You probably noticed very little change
if you take you pictures with a camera, then put
them in a file on a laptop or PC. Then retrieve them
to post on YT . I don?t carry a camera every where I
go, not even sure I could find my old digital camera.
Seems to me this is just a huge step backwards.

Bruce I figured out how to resize them on my iPhone 📱. You know how you can take your finger and thumb and draw the picture in closer ? That will take out more of the background and make the picture small enough it will post
 
If I don?t hold it sideways they usually are always wrong but that?s before resizing ? I thought they said the site would take bigger files now but never had a problem until lately
 
Why are we having to fix anything ??? It worked fine before what ever happened or what ever change was made? We have a name for that it?s called fix it worse that it was before
