done for the season

Finished this year's hay cutting in September. Cleaning the equipment up and putting away for the winter. Last cutting was good enough hay, just not a lot of it.
 
I need to cut about 130 acres still but we've had nearly 30" of rain since Labor Day and more predicted starting tomorrow. I expect a frost by mid November as cool as it's gotten already. Tony
 
I mowed and baled some square bales late October last year. Warmer and drier than now. I don?t like the short days. Difficult to get hay to dry if you can?t Tedd it around noon and early afternoon. Oh well.
