Fordson New Performance Super Major, one of the last tractors to be made at Fords
Dagenham works here in the UK. Made from July 1963 to October 1964 then Ford tractor
production mooved to Basildon with the introduction of the 6x range of tractors.
This changeover left the Ford tractor dealers without a tractor to sell from
November 1964 to Febuary 1965. MJ

Went to an auction back in the early 80's at Saludia VA at a duck farm they had 15 Major and Super Major tractors one even had a factory backhoe on it.

OT question for you related: I have Ford 2000, 3000, and 3910. Excluding the 3910 my service manuals both OEM and I&T include Ford Major and such notations. I get confused at what tractor is being addressed in the literature and does it apply to one of mine.
What is the Major and such that shows up in Ford publications? Thanks.

There is nothing on the Super Major or Dexta that matches the Ford "X" and "Y" series, that has always been my beef with the aftermarket manuals who mix the two ranges together. They are completely different ranges of tractors.
