Matt, beautiful family. That's a nice press, but if it were me, I'd likely come up with something a bit faster than that screw press.

Wife wants to know if the girls are triplets.

Matt. We went a bit farther then cider.Oh BOY DID WE.!!!About 25% alcohol content.Had a snoot full (2 classes)the other night,and I can swear it's smooth as silk.I couldn't see all the years apples going to waste ,laying on the ground,rotting away.We still have 8 gal,working. Today it's putting the radiator back on the Bobcat.Had it re-cord so no leaks and 3 tank patches. Fellow was reasonable in price and we sure was happy to get it going again.Saves the back when lifting wood blocks.Sure as shootin you will enjoy the cider,was wondering what brand apples did you use? Harelson (sp) is both our trees and they bear every season..Regards Lou & Victor.

We do that too. My brother made a cider press last year. His has 2 "buckets", so we can be filling one while the other is being pressed. We buy one of those big crates of mixed 2nd apples from a local orchard. Filled a chest freezer with plastic jugs. Our families get together and set up an assembly line, then have supper. This is making my mouth water. I need to set out another jug to thaw.....
