Not My Dog But....

He wasn't my dog but he was like a part of the family. Whenever I went to my brother's farm there was old Rosco so glad to see me. Always
looking for a treat that I usually had in the pocket of my coveralls. A real good natured and friendly dog that we are sure going to miss
after almost 15 years together. The past few days life was becoming a struggle for him so it was time.

Out With The Dogs

Thats the problem with letting something with such a pure heart into your life. Best part of my day is seeing my dogs.

Sorry for your loss. I know far too well the feeling. Just had to let my 10 year old French Mastiff go on Monday (10 is much beyond average life for Mastiffs). Toughest dang thing I had ever done. She was truly the best. I had been through everything with her - job loss, near foreclosure, failed relationships, both parents passing, injuries. She ended up with osteosarcoma, and her kidneys were beginning to have issues. Got to the point where she could no longer use her left front leg. Had to carry her in and out of the house. Toughest. Day. Ever. Here is a photo of her in my wife and I's engagement photo shoot a couple years back. One of my favorite photos of her.

Go to the Rainbow Bridge, Rosco!! You won't suffer any aches and pains there. Had to put both of mine down, one in June, one in September. Miss their greeting me in the mornings and especially when I come home!! We haven't looked a whole lot for a new one yet, maybe Santa Claus will help us out!!
