Rusty Leader tractor and Bug

I had to look up Leader tractor as I have never heard of it. Spotted the tractor a while ago and finally got a few pictures. The VW is just a shell of its former self!

Carapace is all that is left of the bug. The leader would pull backwards, but not frontwards. Jim

In the picture that does't look like any Leader I have ever seen, all were wide front end. That does not look like a wide front there. I have seen many a Leader tractor.

That is what is on the grill. Would be after the war as it has flat head not the Chevy engine. 1949 was the last year of production as they lost their financing.

Sorry, no. Just happened upon the pic while doing a general image search.

Found that Leader pic on this site (https://www.quartoknows.com/blog/quartodrives/13-classic-tractors-re-imagined) but there is virtually no information provided.
