Looks like he may have had a bit of fun doing it.
When I farmed that ground as a kid with a JD 50 and
an Allis Chalmers All Crop 60, it wouldn't have happened.

Folks are just getting back to corn today around here. Lot of fields look like that, tracked and muddy.

Checked my soybeans, very chewy, the pod is still dampish, but even so they are starting to pop open now. Too many cycles of rain and almost
dry, then repeat.

What a year.

Very little done in my area. If it warms early tomorrow I will take a shot after lunch. I walked the ground this afternoon and it is mushy in a number of areas.
 
I suspect your 50 and all crop would
not have gotten in there for some time
yet. We are going to have that around
here too, if harvest ever starts.
 
That?s rough hopefully things will turn around they always seem to we?ve had an inch of rain since May until this last storm ⛈
 
Our lowest hay field has about 2? of standing water on it. Not been that wet in 25 years. When the ground freezes we are going to have some
serious soupy mud. I think by March the fields are going to be like quicksand. Oh boy. Very wet summer in SE PA.
 
Here it's the rain. Lot of guys got a start on beans about 2-3 weeks ago but it rained and now just about when it's dry enough to go it rains again. Hope we don't get an early snow. If we the the beans will be about done. Corn is going to be wet too. Not much corn except silage has been done. Bad side is at current prices who's gonna want to to harvest corn then have to pay to dry it or burn through the propane.

That's exactly what I meant Jon. Harvest "wouldn't have happened."
At least not yet and probably not until it was too late.
