Case Tractor

I grew up on one of these. The original is long gone. Closest to it I could find, so I bought it

VA series. When I was farming with my cousin we built a sprayer to mount on one. 20 ft. boom mounted on front. 55 gal. barrel on back. Sprayed a lot of acres with it. Handy. We built some adapters and put 36 inch rubber on back. Made for to fast a low gear but we never needed low gear anyway and it really went down the road fast with those big tires.

It looks a lot like my 53 VAC retired Navy Tractor.
Mine was pretty beat up, and actually still is, but it is a great little tractor. It has brought a lot of smiles to a lot of people in the 15 or so years I have had it.
Hope Your's does the same...Tom

Here is my little "VA". When I picked it up, I drove on my trailer, took it home, put it in the shed, 5 years ago:(, going to get it out and running next year

Bruce: as I've stated many times on these Forums, I'm a Miner not a Farmer, and I've never had any dealings with Case tractors, so I have a question. I understand from the photo that the block clamp on the Axle shaft keeps the wheel from coming off, but the absence of bolts in the wheel hub have me wondering what actually is connecting that wheel hub to the Axle shaft to provide traction??? - Can you please explain!

THANK YOU !
