Working on My Sons super M -- He said when You let the loader down its all or nothing comes down like a rock -- it has an add on set of valves -- all 2 way cyl. does something go haywire inside them valves -- and also when You try to pick-up the bucket it goes fairly well till about half-way then goes real hard and slow --makes the pump work hard -- any thoughts?? Roy

If one valve is set at on way, not two way, it will act that way. It could be plumbed wrong. There could be an internal break in a line acting like a heart valve that allows flow, then flaps shut restricting flow. I assume it has a hydraulic tilt bucket. If so does that also fail to work correctly. You might change the bucket valve for the lift valve by changing the hoses from one to the other. Be sure all pressure is off before disconnecting any hose. Jim

My first thought is that one or both of the cylinders is binding/bent/damaged.

Those symptoms are the same as my DuAl loader had last year! I had the two lift cylinders rebuilt, whitch stopped the uncontrolled drop. I added enough hydraulic oil, to the resivour, to fill it, and that cured the shuddering during raise, and I got full reach on the raise.
