Kubota gas engine

Loren most of the gas engines were a KUNOTA diesel block with spark plugs. Cub Cadet was the most poplar use of the engines. Very good but very pricy.
 
. There has been several extended and spirited discussions here regarding gasoline vs diesel with modern emissions being used in the small light duty market .
There has been links posted from Kubota where customs do not want a tier IV Diesel or they are having difficulties with thier Tier IV diesel .
Kubota builds direct replacement spark ignition engines that are direct bolt in replacements for the original Kubota Diesel engine .
 
Are there any other tractors switching back to gas because they can't make it through customs Tier
4? If so, what brand and HP?
 
I have a grasshopper mower with a water cooled, gas engine on it. It is 25 hp. Kubota dealer says it should run 2000 hrs or more before it needs any attention other than routine oil changes etc. I have had it 19 years and it has 750 hrs on it with absolutely no problems.
