This tractor is newer than a 48, I believe it would be a Late 49 or early 50.
Has square rear axle housing, shifter quadrant is a later design on 49 & 50.
The tires sure do help the looks of it!! Start soaking it & it might surprise
yourself & break loose. Have FUN!! Nothing like a New adventure with a different color.

Don't try pulling it to break it loose. Remove the valve cover and check for stuck valves. Also works good to remove the ex pipe and carb. and fill through those openings until clear full. If you can get the valves freed up then I'd remove flywheel cover and chain a bar to the flywheel or wrap a come along cable around flywheel and hook other end on drawbar frame or front frame which ever way you want to turn it first. Good luck. I've freed up a lot of them.

When I unstuck my A, I filled the cylinders with penetrant and soaked for awhile took off the flywheel cover and put a chain through the holes. Used a prybar through the chain. Couldn?t get it to budge until I took the head off. I jacked up the front so it was higher than the rear so the penetrant would seep back under the pistons. Kept soaking it and one day it moved just a little, kept soaking and moving back and forth until it made a complete revolution. Had the valves done while the head was off. I put it back together and it runs great, doesn?t smoke or use oil. Don?t forget to use new lead washers on the head bolts. I think I used a fel-pro head gasket! Most important take your time and don?t get in a hurry!
