Ford 640.Took out thermostat , stuck it in pot of water on stove, didn't start opening until 220f.so it worked for about an hour. Went to town got a new one. 160 degree. No hole in it so I drilled one. I also got some leak stop. Got things back together and ran tractor for over an hour today, with lever up on cap, thermostat cycles fine ,no radiator leaks. I'm happy with it for now. At some point I will get radiator fixed or buy a new one.

Glad you got it fixed . I tried k seal one time on a turboed 560 IH it didn?t work but It had a cracked head

Take the K Seal back and get some AlumaSeal. That K Seal looks like AlumaSeal in water. Watered down to about 10% in my estimation. The guys at the auto parts store claim it's good for head gasket leaks, but I wouldn't put much stock in it for radiator problems.

I have used the K-Seal and I think that it is a good product. It worked where a different product failed.
