Oliver 77 on the tedder

After many years the 77 went back to the field. Everything worked including the hydraulics. Didn't run perfect stumbled a few times while tedding like it was choked then straightened out and ran fine. Hope the weather straightens up because it sure didn't look good today. My old buddy remembers this tractor when it was delivered new to the farm I got it from in 1951.

That's an old girl too! Mid 80's I believe. If I was farming again I'd want one no more looking over your shoulder. The AC even works. I put a new sickle bar and guards on for my neighbor. He is getting around pretty good now after quadruple bypass surgery.

Kruser, Maybe I'll try it on the double rake hitch next. Still has the original electric hydraulic controls.

Nice pics thanks for sharing.

I do not have an oliver yet...but do have a want of a particular configuration of 4 digit series to add to my hobby collection in the future. Just have to find the right one at the right price.

Oliver 77 ......ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I could have bought one ......oh well the hunt continues. Thanks for the pictures!

Couple questions, since I have a 17? Kuhn Tedder: how wide is the header on the Heston mower? How wide is the windrow? Looks like you are tedding between windrows instead of on it. Does that leave untedded hay? I have a NI 5209 discmower which gives me 2 windrows that my 17? tedder can cover perfectly, is why I ask. Thanks
