Power steering

Easiest way for a linkage system is to go electric. Plenty of youtube videos on the subject. I'm almost finished gathering the parts to convert an antique car of mine over to power.

When the steering busted on an AR years ago and no parts avaible put hydrostat steering on it using steering off of a Ford Blue combine. No linkage, just hydrolic hoses.

I don't know how far away from original you want to go but I'm picturing a gear reduction box spliced in steering arm some where. Slower steering but easier.

My ex-running UBU Moline has a Char-Lynn unit on it with its own pump but my parts UB has a Behlen unit on it that tapped into the main tractor hydraulics between the pump and the control box. Both cut a section out of the main steering shaft and fit inline.

I used their parts to add electric power steering to my 1948 Ford 8N w/hyd loader.
Works great.
