This is a team effort. The owner is 75, a cancer survivor. I'm pushing 70 and in good health. Both of us grew up on farms and not allergic to hard work.

They don't make barns this way anymore.
We both feel it's worth savings.

July 1 this year Indiana passed a law making CBD oil legal.
I used to have constant pain in my arms, hands and neck, tendonitis and arthritis. I rub oil on my aching areas morning and night. I'm 99% pain free. I can sleep at night.

No more Rx drugs for me.

So far, no side effects from CBD oil.

Geo-TH,IN didn't you start with 3 drops under your tongue why did you switch to rubbing painful areas any side effects just curious.

Nice job George! In the end it will all be worth the effort ! It's nice to be able to save something with history rather than demolish it and build new ! I bet if that barn could talk it has some stories !

Saddening to me here in Ky, all the old tobacco and feed barns now being torn down. Lumber that was sawn with a circle saw is recycled, and brings pretty good money, which of course brings the thieves out.

It's not my barn, friends.

My opinion of metal hasn't changed.

Do you see the yellow safety rope?

Every fastener needs replaced.

Want to help replace them?

That is sure a large task ! My hats off to you guys !

Be a lot less time spent putting up a NEW barn though. Which mostly happens anymore.

Mike,
You are right, less time putting up a new barn. However so far friend only has about $300 invested. We've recycled a lot of materials. He can't afford a new barn. Not sure how we'll finish off the sided before winter. I estimate it's going to cost about $7-800 in siding.
