Dad bought one of those number 7s brand new. His must have been the cheaper version though,it didn't have hub caps.

That could be. Somewhere in the parts department there's a box with those things in it. LOL

The hub caps were an option. Dealer I worked for never sold any MF lawn tractors with hub caps.

What year is the Dodge? I once owned a '48 that was similar, only mine had a chrome grill.

That was a neat old truck. I repainted it and kept it nice enough to do parades, although underneath it all it was still a working farm truck. I was the 4th owner, and when I sold it, the son of the original owner bought it back. He lives 3 miles from me, so the truck is back home, although the second owner told me he was once within 10 miles of the Canadian border with it.
