A/C C and finish mower

Well I have my long not run C hooked to the finish mower or at least most of the way. PTO shaft is to short. So now I either need to get a PTO shaft I have had soaking with ATF to free up or I will need to make one for it. Even if I put on an ORC it would still be about a foot short. So I am trying to figure out how I am going to get this shaft freed up. Don't like the idea of hooking it to a tree and tractor but may end up having to try that

Drop it in some old diesel fuel. I've had the best luck with that or some old solvent. Seems to soak in more readily then anything I have tried. I have also took a block of wood and hit it with the sledge to knock them out endwise. Putting it behind the yoke so as not to damage the u joint.

I've tried heat before and was going to again today but found out I was out of O-2. Forgot and left the tank on the other day and I guess it had a slow leak so I guess I'll have to get a tank of it tomorrow. I put it on the loader of the Ford 841S and chained it to the frame and the bucket and tried that and all I did was bend the top of the bucket up so that did not work.
