interesting contraption

Looks like a simplified take-off on the Dearborn model 19-65 rear loader. This will not lift as much or nearly as high. Perhaps a reasonable home made stall cleaner.

I had one of them. Was the hardest implement I ever hooked up. Worked good, but was glad to see it go! joe

(quoted from post at 19:03:49 08/18/18) If it's original paint the color suggests Ford made it.
Didn't "Ford Blue" come out in the sixties? So well after the N series. I don't see how this would be better than just a 3pt dirt scoop. A hydraulic top lift would make it lift higher. But the hyd. top link would make for weird "attack angles" with the trip bucket.

Sod Buster

There used to be one of those in our neighborhood, but I think it had a second stage of leverage to make it lift higher. They used to load a manure spreader with it mounted on an 8N Ford.

It's a young man's implement - my neck won't swivel good enough to run it.

es, that was the Dearborn model 19-65 rear loader that I spoke of earlier and it was much more complex & had greater lift height & load capability.
