Nice heavy piece of scrap I'm getting ready to recycle. Hate to do it if it's anything important. Looks like a spacer between the engine and the rest of some small tractor? Maybe?

Looks vaguely familiar to a Model"A" engine to transmission plate. Check with some old Ford guys.

Reminds me of the torque tube on a M or H Farmall for some reason, but I know its not. Any kind of numbers on it?

Probably fairly old, a bell housing of some kind, as someone mentioned. Looks like it has a place for a starter if you wanted one. Stan

It's not Model A.Looks more like tractor,with bolt holes for side plates and a place to mount a steering box on the top.

Early enough to be hand crank with mag. ignition as it has a factory starter mount cover plate. Top mount plate was probably for fuel tank stand / mount. Ears with studs were possibly mounting points for frame rails like Farmall H or M used. What's it worth? A treasure if you need it other wise it's scrap. My opinion.

Yeah, I was going to scrap it unless somebody close ended it and wanted to pick it up (free). Reading a comment above, I may keep it around as an anvil.
