5 million dollars in classic cars

Went to the car show in Kincardine last night, great show over 300 vehicles. These classics were grouped together and reportedly worth over 5 million together. I was asked....politely....to move my Nova so they could be together.....well, if they included me they would have a collection of cars worth 5,002,000 dollars!

Rolls Royce, Packard, Chrysler Imperial, Cadillac hearse, Deusenburg and a V16 Cadillac..oh yeah and a 77 Nova 6 banger...

Nice! I really appreciate it when someone takes the time to take pictures of things of interest, and then take the time to upload them so we can all enjoy them. Beautiful cars!
 
Those old Art Deco cars from the 1920's and 1930's are getting reasonably priced now. Saw some nice Duesenbergs sell on a Mecum auction for less than $40,000. The Barrett Jackson auctions cars bring stupidly high prices.
 
Doc ...... unless you forgot to keyboard in an extra zero, I suspect you might have been watching some fantasy auction. I don't think there have been a lot of genuine classic Duesenbergs sell lately for $40,000. Check out the link below for a number of recent auction sale results .....

Really like the Nova. They made great circle track cars. Our first asphalt car was a 76. Won a lot of races in that car. Sold it and it won the points championship the next year. Thought I'd buy son for my son but never found a nice one.

Nova Concours....has a different grille than a standard Nova, but has the upgraded interior like a Buick or Olds X body.
