Anderson automatic tractor hitch

Just wondered if anyone has experience with a jaw type automatic hitch called the Anderson hitch sold/distributed by Walco. Hitch can be bolted to a tractor draw bar, forage chopper draw bar or the back of a baler. Hitch looks like the old Red Dog hitch found behind many balers during the 60's and 70's, but has a much higher load rating - 12 tons. Primary distributor (Welco) is out of Canada, but they have an office in Minnesota as well. Wanting to add an automatic jaw type hitch to my 3 point quick hitch for moving grain wagons. This Anderson hitch looks promising.

Hi,we had a set called Quick hitch ,not sure if they're the same or not but they worked really good. We stopped using them because we were afraid we'd be hauling a load of bales up hill and something would let go with a car following behind. They do work great but there's always that what if.

Ours were Attach-Matic. Like I said they worked great just always scared they'd cause a fatal accident.

What you need is called a Hitch-N-Go made by Westendorf Mfg in Onawa,Ia. My father in law was the patent holder for these.

Sugar cane farmers in south La. use a hydraulic actuated pintle hitch attached to their 3 point on at least a 125 HP tractor.they tow 2 cane "carts" with a 20,000 pound capacity each.never have to leave the seat.the field tractor(4wd) brings the loaded carts to the road and the road tractor hauls them to the mill.i believe this setup is manufactured locally
