OMC Mustang 1700, input please

The original subject was "OMC Mustang 1700, input please".

I just got a mustang 1700 and I'm looking for anyone who has one in running condition to exchange info. I know this thread is old and I may be pissing in the wind but any help would be much appreciated.

We have one and in running condition. Its got a new reman. motor but the rest of the machine is pretty tired. It still does what we need it to do. You can send me a Email if you want. [email protected]

It would make post more interesting to people, at least to me, if you put in more information as I have no idea what an OMC Mustang is. Tractor? Mower-conditioner? Truck? Something else? The more information you include the better we can learn. You know what you have, we do not know. Same thing when somebody asks a question about his model B tractor but does not include the make as there is John Deere B, Farmall B, Allis Chalmers B and some other short line tractors I believe had a Model B.

Also, what KIND of info are you looking to "exchange?" Do you have specific questions about operating, maintaining, or repairing the machine? Those work much better in a forum environment.
