But they will run just fine at lower pressures. Even if it just moves the needle at idle is sufficient, so long as you know oil is being circulated, and no unusual knocking.
Most run 15w40 diesel oil, or 20w50 will help boost pressure.
Be sure the oil is not contaminated with fuel.
