Nice. Question for you, my neighbor has a similar JD combine, and I have been wondering, what year did they stop putting the yellow on the cab roof. Hiss like yours , has a yellow roof. Neighbor will run around 800 acres of crop through his machine, and it does a good job for him.
 
Nice that you grew yourself some "hands" to help with the chores.

On the duals I was going to ask why on one side only. I had a JD 95 with a 24' header......not too many generations back from your 7700. That's where I got educated about hot to disassemble different types of hydraulic cylinders....I thing Mother Deere used every type that was on the market.

Great tool box- keeps stuff organized, and you don't have to dig through a pile to find what you need.
And nice to see the kids (and dog) involved. Do either of the kids run the combine?
 
That must be an early model 7700? There was not a lot of difference in our 7720 and the 7700, I thought other than the flat screen versus the rotary screen for the engine. Guy I worked for about 30 years ago had a 7700 that looked a lot different more like the 7720.
 
That isn't a flat chested one. You can see a little of the rotary screen and the bottom of the engine cover is open. I struggled with one of those years ago. Definitely not one of mother deere's finest inventions. They must of had a lot of clover seed screens left over to use, that's what the screens in the engine cover looked like.
 
This one is a 79 . We had a 6600 without the rotary screen and the reverse flow fan . I wish this one would have had the hydraulic auger latch option
 
Only one dual because I hadn?t put the other one yet used to do a lot of one way plowing with one dual on the Land side
 
I am trying to get Chris operating more and more and he?s good help he still thinks it fun to pull out bolts and do that kind of stuff
 
When the titan 2 came out they dropped the yellow cab top and went to green . 85 or 86 would be my guess
