Had to make a quick trip to northern Vermont over the weekend. Didn't have much time to take pictures but have these from driving. One of my favorite areas. Pictures are from Vermont looking across Lake Champlain at the Adirondack Mountains of NY.

Yes, that is beautiful farm country. I have driven that road many times, and used to go to a pull at a private property almost on the lake at Ferrisburgh.

Really like the one with the old buildings. Looks like they still stand true... and if they had gotten new roofs, they'd last a long time yet.
 
Boy I can remember the first time I was that way over 50 years ago. It looked good to me then too! A little different than here! Flat as a table here only 100 feet difference between the high & low elevation in this county!
 
Thought you would like that one. We were out in the boonies east of Burlington. A lot of nice farms, many of the barns and houses have slate rooves. Sorry I couldn't get more pictures.

Looks like some flat land there that I like. I though all of Vermont was mountains with no flat land. But I have never been close to that far east the farthest to not quite the pennsy line against Ohio. Never anything in school about other states and thet was 55-60 year ago.
