Anyone following the Canadian fires??

Last two nights my field in back of the house has been just a haze. Told its from fires in Ontario. Must be alot of fire as I'm about 2- 2 1/2 from the border. Just wondering if anyone is following it.

We're 100 miles S of the border, and Friday it was so thick you couldn't see the other end of the lake, 5 miles. Today the wind is out of
the SE, clear as can be. I googled it, there are a lot of fires straight north of us, but maybe 400 miles.

meant to say 2 -1/2 hours from the border
 
I could smell a little smoke in southern mn this morning, not as strong as that time a yr or two ago. not real hazy
 
We were supposed to have a waterbombing display with one of the Alberta airtactor groups as part of our civic celebrations on Sat but the event was
cancelled as the group was sent off to Ontario due to the fires.The bird dog
officer in one of the groups is a good friend of mine as we have known each
other since HS.
