I took this pic Thursday. We left early to go to an auction, but it was a flop. Then went to the local tractor salvage, but they didn't seem very interested in doing any business.

Ended up at the metal recycler place. THERE we found some neat stuff!! Ended up buying 1,100 lbs. of scrap. Unfortunately, that didn't include any machinery, but sure got some awesome project fixin's! More about that later. For now, this is one of the great, old machines they have sitting around the scrap yard. Hope ya'll enjoy!

Those Pettibones were made in Baraga, MI. Have about 4 or 5 old friends that worked there. The factory is still there, and they're still making equipment...

I worked for Pettibone in the 70s and 80s as a welder very good machines. Loved working for them. Still live in Baraga and retired.
