Bought a large book on history of tractors at a flea market in
Pensacola FL yesterday for $4, this book is amazing, 512
pages and probably 3000+ pics in it beginning with the first
tractors made up through the 1990?s. Some brands I?ve never
heard of and foreign made tractors too. If ya?ll are interested,
I?ll post some pics all along....

That was a nice find. We don't see books like that around here at flea market very often. Over the years I have collected books on older tractors,trucks,trains and firearms. I can set for hours going through book like these.
 
I think you got a great deal.

Pics would be interesting... especially the yesterday's tractors. Pun intended. :)
 
I like to look at those weird models... I have never heard of the Olvers like in the picture,,very interesting..

You got a great deal!!!! I love looking at these type of books. They are getting harder to find. Even new ones are limited. Thanks for posting some pictures. That book would give you one to post for months. LOL HINT HINT!!!!
 
What a great book you found. Cheap and in great gondition. I smiled when I saw your first pictures posted. I love that 4x4 Fergie. I would love to have one. They look so awesome. Of course I own a 51 TO30 so I'm partial to them.
The giant tire 4x4 Fordson is an incredible looking machine for its time as well, great look.

It has gotten to where I am a "hard sell" at flea markets or yard sales because I have so much stuff now! However, at the recent "200 mile Hwy 70 yard sale" from Memphis to Nashville, I found a large yard full of good vendors. One guy had a large selection of military vehicle books and also motorcycle books. When he said "motorcycle" I had to look. I bought a large book on Indian motorcycles covering from their beginning up through the 1950's. Price was $5.00. I just had to have it at that price!
