I have two Case Super Diesels built July 11th and July 9th, 1957. With the side step and center tie down by the rear end I believe this is the one I bought from Jim of Cal.

I have three Case 600 Diesels built June 3rd, and June 11th of 1957. The one built Nov. 20th of 1956 is consider a 1957 by the build sheet.

Nice looking tractor. Hate the chrome straight pipes. I like a quiet smooth running tractor. This vintage of Case would have only had the Eagle hitch correct???

That must have hurt the sales of them. I do not know of hardly any Case tractors around here being used when I was young. JD, IH, Ford, and MH. A few MF and Oliver. I can't think of a single Case around here before the 30 series.

JD, same experience for me with other tractor brands. Northern Colorado where I grew up had a very small population of John Deere tractors. We were open furrow irrigated crops, sugar beets, pinto beans, silage corn for dairy cattle and some onion's ans carrot's. No one around had JD equipment until you got further east into dryland wheat country. Of course I'm speaking of 1950's equipment. There was a lot of IH, Case, some Ford and Oliver. I'm not saying nobody farmed with JD, but those were few and far between until the New Generation line of the 60's.
