I am having some trouble finding an engine
overhaul kit for my Allis Chalmers 5050.
The engine code on mine says 8035 and all
of the kits that I have found either say
for 8035.01, 8035.02 or 8035.04. So I am
stuck and not sure which one i am needing.
Any help would be great.

I'm guessing the decimal+number has something to do with what bearings you get.The kit I got had unfinished sleeves that had to be bored once in place the mechanic that did the work said he liked that with dry sleeves because any slight imperfection in the sleeve caused by the block got bored out.Tractor runs greatand does great after the rebuild BTW.

Know nothing about them so question? Could the extra number on the end of the kit number be for as a difference in bearing sizes as standard, one undersize or 2 undersize? Or would that mean something entirely different? Woyld think with the engine code on kits it would be something about an update or like a ground crank or standard crank? Help me understand that. Just what is difference in kits?

You will need to go agco?s website and search for the nearist dealer. Good luck
