Stump Grinder on Compact Tractor

With the Ash Bore killing the Ash trees, I am going to have a lot of stumps. I am thinking of a 3 Pt. Stump Grinder on my JD 3320 Compact Tractor. I would appreciate some recommendations, pros and cons, of different manufacturers stump grinders.

Maybe you feel a 3 Pt. version is the wrong direction. What then would you recommend?

Ya, I generally chain saw the few stumps I have flush but it sure seems there is a lot of abrasives that dull my chain in the wood no matter how much I clean the circumference of the stump. I have even tried power washing them.

Thanks.

Why not just use a pull type grinder. You could put a hydraulic cylinder in the tongue to make it telescope for the movement end ways. Would save having to move the tractor ever so slightly during the process.

Just enough to know that it kicks a$$ on anything that it eats.We had a gravity feed for a short time.It was more work getting the brush cut to go thru it than worth the time to chip it. I've ran walnut, black oak,and hedge with no problem. We got the smaller one to use on a 1530 New Holland.

Well so much for my idea being an original ! I had pretty much that exact design built in my head but never made it yet.

That Woodlandmills stump grinder looks pretty interesting. Looks well built and price seems within reason. Looks like using the tractor hydro forward and back and the 3pt arms for height really reduces cost. I wonder about the direct drive and how hard it would be on the tractor driveline. There is a slip clutch. At least in the videos it did not vibrate the 3pt and tractor to pieces. He was cutting soft wood. The reviews are sure positive.

I don't twist well so I would have to get a mirror or rear camera.

Does anyone have direct experience with this stump grinder?.
