Engine suddenly quits

Was working my 574 International when it suddenly quit.It would not restart. It has fuel(gas).
I let it set overnight and it started long enough to leave the field and quit again.Any ideas?

Did you loosen the gas cap? Sometimes the vent gets plugged, and as fuel is drawn down it creates a vacuum in the tank and gas will not go to the carb. Its a bit of a long shot, but is pretty easy to check out.

Fuel filter, trash in tank covering outlet, trash got by filter and blocking needle valve. If not electrical

Had a similar problem with a 574. Drove us crazy till we figured out if we added 5 gals of gas it would run. The fuel pump quit working and as long as the level in the fuel tank was above the level of the pump it would gravity feed. Not saying this is your problem, but worth checking out..

Fuel in the tank is always good fuel into the cylinders is more important. If it is not the spark or the pump, if you can, remove the plug from the bottom of the carb and catch it in a container. It should take no more than a minute to catch 8 ounces.
