Spent day 3 travelling through southern Manitoba. Beautiful countryside, corn and soys look better here, between Steinbach and Morris, than at home! Fields flat as can be, stretching for miles hundreds of acres. Warm an sunny, just a few thunderstorms last night . Buick and Deere will be intersected to know we are getting 17 to 20 mpg Imperial at 55 mph towing a 4500 lb travel trailer with our Chevy. More pics later

Hi Ben, nice country in that area and the type of crops have changed to more corn and soy than the traditional grain crops.
Haven't been in that area since 2005. I had many relatives farming in the Reston and Sinclair area but now all the farms are sold to BTOs as the next generation was not interested in farming. In two weeks we will be in that area as well.

Have a great trip

I was told that if you think it is flat at Fargo when you stood on a beer can you could see Winnipeg from there and it just got flatter as you went north. Yes it is flat at Fargo.
