Improving a JD 48 loader (I am blaming that Case guy)

I admire and envy Loren's design and fabrication skills. The fit and finish makes his projects look like a factory option.
So I have wanted a JD 148 loader for my 4010 for quite sometime, but didn't have the money to pull the trigger. I thought I could add twin tip to my 48 loader since the single tip was ruining the back of the bucket. I didn't stop there though. Also converted it to a skid loader quick-tach set up. Really looking forward to renting a skid steer broom next spring to bring the rocks back onto the driveway instead of raking all day! Thanks Loren for the "can do it" attitude.

Looks great. I think that there are many others here on YT that have fabrication skills. I am always borrowing ideas from people that post here.

Wow! NICE, I've been thinking about doing that to mine also. I would like to use pallet forks especially.

From the factory, from the back of the bucket to the center of the pin was 4". It now is 7 1/4" to accommodate the locking mechanism.
