I went to the Father's Day car show at Stan Hywett Hall near Akron. Been meaning to see it for years but never quite got there. This year featured the "British Invasion" and some farm trucks and tractors. I was expecting more but only three tractors and two trucks. I've always had a thing for the British sports cars, especially the Jags.

Nice stuff...On a side note there is a guy near me that has a 1974 F-350 with a 12 ft flat bed (no hoist) 2500 miles I think,, his father kept it in all the time it is like new,,, he has it for sale with a $11,000 price tag...no takers yet.. 360 4 spd, Red,,it probably sold new for 7-8,000

Mike: I see the sign for the "Winking Lizard" too. The food used to be very good 20 years ago when I worked for Dana and we ate there!

My father in law had a 67 F-350 with a 9 ft stake bed, 300 six, with only 70,000 miles. He passed in '91 and my brother bought it for a song from the estate, then never came for it and it sat there for twelve years. We later bought the property and when I wanted him get it out, of course, I'm the big AH. Never did ask him what became of it.

There were around 400 cars there. I texted the Jaguar pictures to my daughter and said if it weren't for you and your sister in college, I'd have one too. The red touring car is a Pierce Arrow, 1918 I think. Not me stuffing his face. JS, those restaurants are all over around Cleveland.

We had a red Ford F-4. 10' box and hoist. Ours was a 51. More times then not we had to pull start that flat head. In the winter with snow on the drive we had to pull it through the double corn crib to get traction. Round and round.

In the late 60's thru the 70's I bought/sold a good number of British cars back then a Jag E type in good shape could be had for $2000,Midgets $500,A-H 3000 $1000,Mini Coopers $500-$1000
back then just wasn't many people that wanted to drive/own one.Prices have sure changed should have kept some still have a bunch of Mini Cooper engine parts.

My dad has a 1996 F 350 4x4 diesel with 40,000 miles. Bright red and never sat out a night. He turned down $30,000 for it, he paid $28,500 for it new.
