Spindle on a commercial zero turn---CUB TANK

Have this heavy duty commercial zero turn mower. It is the Tank by Cub. 24 HP Honda.
There is a part missing off the spindle for the blade. From the bottom up there is a big nut--the blade-a spacer----above the spacer and below the bearing there is a round part missing. Guessing it is a seal for maybe keeping out dirt on the bearing. Was told that this part is not available---you have to buy the complete spindle- bearing etc. as a set.
Any of you folks have any info. on this. 2003 low hour model.. thanks

Does it exist on the other two spindles ?

If not on the other spindles, it may be the result of plastic twine wrapping around and melting from the heat. Makes pretty washers, but not original equipment.

Happens with disk mowers/mowerconditioners on the ag equipement.

You most likely will break a bolt trying to take the spindles off to replace it, if you take it off. Which Deck do you have? I might have an old spindle from when I changed the deck on my 50.

Had that a couple of days ago after picking up a hunk of plastic baler twine. What a mess getting that out. Actually slowed the engine and your brain goes oh not again!

Yes the other spindles have it....It may be a 1/4 inch thick--what ever it is. It looks like a round gasket pressed up above the spacer and it rotates with the turning of the blade. Thanks for the pic................

It appears the spacer holds it in place. Probably fell out on a blade change sometime prior. It looks like dirt could get up in there with out this gasket........
