Birthday gift O.T.

My #2 son Bob,Brought me my birthday gift,25lb box of Georgia peaches.Been eating em like crazy.He also went for a scan and the scan turned out to show an anurisism(sp) main one n the left side.Now its back for more surgery.If it ain't one thing ,it's another!!!!.The Dr. who had NO BEDSIDE MANNER,was a first class az ---- a rug head in the first order.I was gonna write Mayo hospital and let em know what a jerk they have on staff.I will discuss it with Bob so I won't be stepping out of bounds.Any way built a form for a cement wall to keep back the soil and wont damage the fruit trees.Got a lot of promises of blumes and flowers,so If I last another year or so, I just might be lucky enough to get to sample taste before i get called away.Well back to the peaches before they spoil.They surely taste like I remember them. Great sweet taste and trying to save the seed to try and see if any trees come from them if they do,I Will have to keep them if a big container move em inside the heated garage when winter comes again.I had peach trees grow for 4+ years only to see then get hit with freezing temps and die.Trying to see what happens with this method.

Hmmm, I had a cancer issue a few years back and my doc was from "offshore" (I'll refrain from the bigoted Archie Bunker description you use) and he probably saved my life with his skills. His bedside manner was secondary to me so that's not even worth commenting on, he did a great job for what he was trained for. There are likely a ton of docs around with fantastic bedside manners but perhaps their medical skills are somewhat lacking. Those are the ones that I would choose to avoid. Anyways, wandering off topic as is usually the case when such comments are made so I'll sign off.

Lou from wis. If you have so much frost and still want to grow some, you could try espellier ing them along the side of a building. Just cover with sacking or something when extreme dips are imminent. Ed Will Oliver BC

At mayos all you need to do is mention to a nurse that you don?t much care for a docs bedside manner and you will never see him or her again. There is so much depth of staff there they can easily do that in all but the really highly specialized cases.

I am so happy to have that world renowned facility just a 4 hour drive away. Saved my dads life back in 71, and caught something with me that if left alone could have turned bad.
