A C injection pump

The ac 210 that I have has started leaking where the shut off arm is on the injection pump. My question, does the pump need to be rebuilt and if so would it be best to send it to a shop rather than doing it myself? Is there a place I could send it and trade it for a rebuilt one. No shops close to my location. I would appreciate any help.

The Roosamaster is easy to repair the throttle shaft seals. It requires o rings and a top cover seal. With pump numbers you should be able to get at a pump shop or get they AGCO. Can be tricky if you never did one.

If the throttle shaft is starting to leak this is a indication of how old all the seals are in this pump. Have the whole pump resealed and you will be happy. A 210 is a tractor that is still worth some cash , don't be afraid to spend a few bucks and get the job done right. I get 450 to do a reseal and tune up on the nozzles. Turn around is a couple days. Go to the Unofficial Allis forum and look up Injector Pump Ed. He is very good with AC pumps and seems to be very reasonable

Best to have someone go through it that's familiar with four plunger heads. Just returned a JD pump of similar build. Roller eccentricity is critical to pump life, if not set correctly, it won't last long..
