Rear tractor tires

IIRC a few years back, someone had some filler that could be used on weather cracks in rear tractor tires. Anyone remember? Something like spackling?
Tires on my JD B are from 1950, still have good bars, but cracks in between in center of tread.
No cracks in sidewalls. New tubes about 10 years ago. Tires are up, no leaks.
Wanted for show only, don?t want to put $1000 in tires on a $1000 tractor.
Would buy used if a pair could be found. 11.2-38 up to 13.6-38

Urethane windshield mastic. It is tough and if allowed to cure for 48 hours, it will be as permanent as needed. jack the wheels and leave them up for the duration. Jim

Thanks a million. Good answer; looks like Wal-Mart has it for one, Summit Racing another.
I never knew what it was.

"Boot black" In the movie,'The World's Fastest Indian'.Burt Munroe(Anthony Hopkins) used 'boot black' to hide the cracks in the tires of his 1920 Indian Scout(650cc) to run(and set) the 1968 world record 201MPH speed record for under 1000cc class. I think the record still stands today. BTW,Awsome movie!!

Red ...... yes, that was some kind of a movie. The little kid next door, Tommy I think, was priceless. The part I liked was when Burt trimmed his toenails with a grinder, pretty cool way of getting that done. The article below claims that one of his many records still stands, and that he went to the salt flats ten times. Great movie, I wish they made more movies like that these days instead of these computer generated action films I see advertised on TV. Here's the link I mentioned ....
