I just saw that on July 1 2018 in Indiana no colored headlights. You can run only white and amber headlights. That is strange because I have never seen amber headlights but have seem amber fog lamps.

I have seen Amber headlights on plow trucks in some areas.

I don't know about that. Here in Michigan, just about every kid I know that has tinted windows has gotten at least one ticket for them. One kid that has gotten several just says "it's the cost of looking cool".

My son gets pulled over about once a week for it. The cops have told him to just get a doctor's prescription for it. He said "Why,you'd still have to pull me over to see the prescription?". Most of the cops know him by now and don't even bother.

By DOT regulations the only colors allowed on front are amber and white to my knowledge.

I hope they apply it to the blue headlights, or any excessively bright headlights.

They're probably going after the LED accent lights, grill lights, etc. They want things like that reserved for emergency vehicles.

Blue headlights are already illegal in all states on MOST cars.
The only way they are legal is if you have a high end car that came with HID headlights from the factory.
Aftermarket kits to upgrade to HID lights are illegal for on road use.
It is a product sold for off road use being used in on road vehicles because law enforcement does not enforce the law.
Just like tinted windows. Illegal but not enforced.

The white and amber refers to back up lights.

Yes law saws backup lights but State police are reporting white and amber headlights.
