Well I am finally able look at the manual using my other computer. It appears that the ORC part of the PTO shaft is bad but till I get into it more I will not be for sure. Problem is with looking at the manual on the computer it is hard to get to the right page and also be able to read it. Almost need a monitor that is the size of a big screen TV LOL

I do not like manuals on the computer

I don't either!

I sent for a Bobcat manual on a disc. Looks like a copy of a copy, everything is blurred and run together. Illustrations are just black blobs!

I don't either but right now that is al I have but plan to look for a paper copy so I can take it to the shop with me. Helps a whole lot when you can stop and look as your working on something instead of having to stop walk to the house fire up the computer and hope it work right. I just tried to pull up the manual on the other computer and it will not bring it up so another wasted hour fighting a stupid computer

I don't either. But it is sure handy if you can get access to one without having to buy every manual.
Nice thing about printed copies is you can take a pencil and write in corrections and subsitutions.

Printer went bad when the old computer went bad and have not replaced it. Plus the manual is 321 pages long so that would take a long time and a lot of ink and paper

I just print out the pages I need for whatever I'm doing at the time. Then, when I get them dirty, I don't care because I can print those few pages out again.

Like I said it is a funky thing two disk with dawgs on them held by a c clip with spring pressure best I remember, I know we had to fix several and getting there was a lot more than the cost of the parts.

I called Case/IH today and they said the cost is $283. They also said there are 2 of them and most likely both will be bad so around $600 just in those 2 parts and I bet there are also gaskets that will need to be replaced and a good 10 or so hours to do the work

That?s the worst part of it and with a paper manual you can thumb through and find something some of my manuals on the computer the index is not easy to use to say the least

Yep paper manuals you can get to the page you need fast but one on the computer you have to scroll up and down an all around to get there and by the time you do you forget what all pagers you needed to go to so you go back to where you started to figure out which pages you forgot.
