One is stronger, but you have to know the price to figure the better deal.

Your also comparing two different formulations of the 2-4d product. They work differently on different weeds. So I would need to know the targeted weed and the recommended rate/cost per acre to figure out the better product.

One of our corn herbicides is a weaker formula so you use more of it per acre but it costs less per gallon so it actually is cheaper to use.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see either ester, or amine in the top picture? The bottom one is ester. Maybe the top one is amine?
I have no idea why- but the 2 4 D we used for years was the amine formulation. When I started using liquid N fertilizer as a carrier, I had trouble mixing it. Someone finally told me to use the ester.

We are advised to use the amine version of 2,4-D in the orchard because it is less volatile. If you add Stinger or Starane and a surfactant it really will knock down broadleaf weeds.

Just mostly dandelions and a few thistles some other weeds some brush but 24d on brush is about like fertilizer so I will hit it with something else . Right now the 24d amine is on sale for 60$ for 5 gallon the Loveland Is 75$ for 2.5 gallon

They?ve got some stuff called flame the chemical dealer I work
for has been using a lot of this spring

"They work differently on different weeds."

Yepper. The Ester is more expensive but if you read the label, you see different weeds. So I use a 50-50 mix rather than a full dose of one or the other. Additionally adding a surfactant has really improved my results. Amine is brown and ester is white. Course I'm not a BTO so cost isn't a concern but if I were, surely I would pay more attention to cause and affect.
