damaged tractor tire

While driving around the back of our recycle drop off center, I saw a 10-36 Sure Grip rear tractor tire. It looked to be be in very good shape. No weather checking. I did find 4 breaks on the back side of the tire that did not go all the way though the case. The breaks are in a line, between four consecutive lugs. It is a six ply tire and the breaks might be though one ply of the cords. Would this old damaged tire have any value at a swap meet?

I think that it would. It would last forever for someone who was not going to use the tractor, and with tires so expensive plenty of people are looking to replace old worn and rotten ones.

I'd pick it up. Makes good trading stock. A guy in our club grabbed a nice looking 12.4 28 a few years ago. It had been sliced by a disc blade. I needed one for a trailer queen. I booted it and the cut ended up on the inside where it can't be seen anyway.

It would be the size for an older tractor used as a show tractor as that size is not made for years, yes the 11.2 is made to replace it but it booted up good would make some one a good matching tire on just a colector tractor. Might get a hundred out of it or even more depending on what someone needed. I am thinking a Farmal C or the like size. Think I have seen that size on a MM R as well. Deere did not use that size.
