For all of you that like rusty equipment, there is a sale this Saturday, May 26, at College Grove, Tennessee which is just
a few miles southeast of Nashville. There are approximately 60 tractors which include Farmall, MM, AC, Oliver, several old
implements, 4 or 5 old trucks, huge assortment of parts, wheels, etc. A lot of these tractors are on steel. Most all are
pre WW II. The email for this auction company is [email protected] or google Gary Auction Company, Spring Hill, TN.
Those of you who like rust will not be disappointed.
 
Just looked through the pics... some really neat old tractors and trucks.

Sheesh, I'd loved to have seen them right where they were setting BEFORE they got pulled out of the vines/brush for the sale lineup. :)

Can't think of the name of that yard... but pretty sure, we were at that same sale. I could've spent a week there wandering around. Would loved to have seen those all in there natural habitat before the sale lineup too.

Did you make it the sale at Montgomery... the old guy who had collected steamers? That was heaven too!

Aww, I need me a good rust auction or a day in an old fashioned junkyard!!
 
If you get to Paynesville, west on MN hwy 55...Bert Ruprecht yard- used to be Paynesville Tractor Parts. Been closed for years, but occasionally Bert is there...looks like he"s collecting old pickups lately, plus all the old leftovers from before. Tractor skeletons, etc. He had a yard in LA, so often brought up hi-crop tractors. Try finding it on the ytmember map to scope it out. Also try going east of Pyz on hwy 23, towards Richmond...catch Torborg"s...old IH dealer.

Was that Paul Bussert's sale? I never got to that sale, but I bought parts from Paul several times when he was still in business.
